“I can"t understand it!”says Lily with a sigh。 But one day as she looks out of the window at her brown earth，she understands the reason。 Her litte dog is digging on one side of the garden ，her kitten is scratching the soil on the soil on the other side，and some birds are pecking at the seeds in the middile。 “I think I shall have to plant my seeds in a flower pot，”says lily，“they "ll be safe there!”
